Swapping Weapons

Are you F-ing kidding me with the time to switch weapons?  It should be faster by far and shouldn't matter what weapon you are changing to.

It is outrageous that I cannot have a firefight with someone without them changing weapon faster than myself and getting killed because of it.  There is no other reason... we switched at the same time and his was ready first...

    Stocks (both standard and sniper) increases weapon swap speed and ADS speed.


    LMGs and Snipers take the longest to swap to/from.


    It takes longer swapping away from a weapon than swapping to one (So going from pistol to LMG is much faster than going from LMG to pistol).

    If you use LMGs, you probably want at least a blue stock on it. If you don't like the slow weapon swap time, use SMGs/pistols/shotguns instead.

    @GrandDoodie Well do you have auto swap weapons on? Or you manually do it? If I recall there is a option to swap to other weapon if primary is out of bullets.

    I have not seen that option on console... Do you know where to look for it?

    Regardless of that, it should be a little faster in my opinion because another game I play (Destiny) there are mods that make certain weapons, larger ones like snipers and LMG's, "ready" faster because they are meant to be slower due to size of the gun.  There isn't anything like that in place within Apex and I feel like it's meant to be a given that bigger ones will take longer, but I don't know.
