@N19htf0x A possible solution is bringing in a feature from the mobile version of apex. This feature would be auto loot, a screen, showing a death box’s contents would pop up, and auto loot stuff you need, using the same apex mobile AI. This of course could be disabled in settings, or possible bound to a button, or key.
Hmm... Not sure I like the idea of autoloot, but it could be viable to restrict the lootable items in a deathbox of a teammate which you haven't taken the banner yet
Maybe limit looting to two items like with a loba ult until you take the banner. This would give you the ability to shield swap and grab ammo or a gun or something, get back into the fight against the other team, then come back and get the banner when you've finished fighting.
