@PorkchopsDestinyApex has to cater to everyone, if you was a level 10 player who just joined the game, would you enjoy getting bullied by 3 stack preds with 20k+ kills each when you're just trying to learn the game? You wouldn't.
A lot of players who play apex aren't as good as the top percentage of players, either they just don't play enough or they aren't gifted with gaming talents.
Yes, most players are unable to play apex without being carried. That is also down to sbmm.
Apex is in the best state it has been in since season 1; all guns are viable, the gameplay feels fluid, players use different legends, you never know who is going to win a fight, the sbmm does need adjusting once again, servers do need updating and bugs and glitches do need fixing, but apart from that this game is perfect.
You are saying apex feels like a "childs game" yet you've enjoyed apex being a "childs game" for 6 seasons, no? The reduced 25% ttk helped new players, which I'm glad was reverted because it was an awful change. I've also been playing since day 1; apex has come along way since then.
Well I am pretty sure they fixed the lobbies based on skill level. But then again most people that cant play usually resort to cheating. Im just saying the entire game is nothing like it used to be. If they want to fix all the issues they could just add solos back. Everyone wins.
- @PorkchopsDestiny Yes, I think 2 days ago or so the sbmm just popped, everyones a 3 stack pred in my lobbies, 20k-60k kills per person. Players who did cheat and used strike pack mods do seem to be banned now as I haven't encountered somebody using once since the start of this season. Maybe they will add solo's, but I hardly doubt it because a dev did mention that it hurt the playerbase to have solo's. I do still think it should be added though for those players who like playing solo.
Its just very hard seeing the game of how it has become. The whole point of boosted was the 25% less on shields I thought. And they had a paint hop up teased but never actually put it into this season. Loba still has issues after being fixed supposedly many times and the devotion is still to powerful. I played a game today and mowed four people down with the devotion. It was the only gun around when I landed and honestly I felt bad for using it. Im not saying that only kids play the game im just saying they have made it easier for kids to play the game. Thats great for them but what about us sweats? Ranked doesnt change much only the fact that team mates cant leave without penalty. A hardcore mode or solos would be amazing.
Overall I just get tired of carrying people and have no positive outcome for it.
- @PorkchopsDestiny I feel you on that one, 2-3k damage per game and teammates just 1 tap a few enemies at the end; can be very frustrating. I will say though, since the sbmm stealth patch 2 days ago, I don't have it happen that often, I haven't really seen teammates loot my boxes since either.
- @PorkchopsDestiny Every season we get new things, a new pass, skins etc, but the whole idea of 25% less shields did not work because they would have had to overhaul everything, shields, heals, guns, armour, fortified... you get the point.
The hop up that was teased was nothing more than a silly distraction, upon seeing that I instantly knew it would be apart of a LTM as it was pointless, it did not add anything new to the game except for some silly fun.
Loba maybe fixed one day, but this season just ain't it. Yes the devo is OP but what can you do? I'm sure I'm not the only one when I say that this season feels so close to season 1 and the end of season 5, which is where I personally feel apex belongs, everything is enjoyable to use, the triple take could use a little nerf also along with the devo, but apart from that this season is perfect.
I'm bored of ranked, I don't even play it anymore, pointless once you've gotten the badges and since I have a s1+s2 dive trails, it is just pointless overall. What we need is new cosmetics, dive trails, and really unique things for it to be worth our while.
Looking back from day 1 of this game, I really don't think the developers at respawn have what it takes to take Battle Royale's into the next generation. I could be wrong, but maybe one day they'll surprise me, up to yet though I just don't see it. - @PorkchopsDestiny Easy solution: shoot half your charger from a distance, recharge, push and finish him yourself
i mean if u want i could be ur team-mate- ur kills are urs, mine are mine because honestly people who steal kills just dont know that "season 0" was the equivilant to if u take to long ur getting ur sorry * killed
also i notcied this aswell (i was mid match whilst typing this) but people get so toxic when u say "ok im going here cause im getting kills to get better as xyz legend"
