Terrible customer support

I used a valid coin code on my steam account, the coins never showed up on my EA account.  I contacted EA support to help, and they have consistently asked me for documentation that doesn't exist and refused to answer my questions about why the coins didn't show up and if the issue is fixed.  I contacted steam support and showed EA those messages of steam saying they don't provide confirmations for code redemptions.  A different support person answers each time and none of them have shown any interest in actually helping.  Has anyone else figured out how to get EA to actually help?

    Hey @NotoriousBeefea

    Thank you for the update, Sorry for the initial misunderstanding. Given the situation of how you got a code I would recommend reaching out to the Game Changer you won the code from and let them know it did not work. 

    From there they should be able to contact their EA GC Rep. who can take a look into this further and if need be look into a new code. Our support team can only assist with purchases made from one of our trusted retailers.

  • That's what I thought, but i have asked many times what the problem is and if its fixed.  And they have not addressed those questions at all.  Why would I buy anything from EA when I don't think it will work.

    Hey @NotoriousBeefea 

    We would be unable to assist with missing items on Answers HQ, you would need to reach out to an advisor for further assistance. 

    When reaching out be sure to add your purchase information, if purchased from steam it would be a full screenshot of your transaction history and the confirmation email from the purchase. 

    Once you reach out they will be able to further assist from there.

  • I have been in contact with at least 10 advisors over the past month, since none of them will help I decided to take it public, first here, then to other social media platforms, then to the attorney general's office.  The issue is i don't have proof of purchase because I won the code in a raffle from one of your EA game changers partners, I have explained this and shown screenshots of how I got the code.  Steam sees this as a retail code, and they don't give confirmation emails or transaction numbers when people use retail codes.  I have sent screenshots of the steam support explaining that to the EA advisors.  Steam did confirm that it was a valid code that was entered on my account.  None of the advisors has answered why the transfer from steam to EA account didn't work or if a new code would work.  All they do is send a link to the different purchase verifications pages and won't do anything else until i provide something that does not exist.  How do I get an advisor to actually help me?
