The AFK penalty.

Question

I totally understand the need for this penalty, as I have been victim to players just ditching when I was literally about to save them, but is there any way to improve this to segregate straight up abandoning players from players that literally leave because there is absolutely no hope for survival? I was playing ranked a moment ago and was dropped with two other squad mates, one of which was completely MIA. So once me and the other team mate were killed and the MIA player was nowhere to be found, so I quit. Why does this constitute a penalty on my behalf?

There was no other teammate, I left thinking that I wouldn’t get banned for 10 minutes because I had no teammates.

This happened to me in ranked, too. It’s annoying that EA and Respawn Entertainment adds a Penalty, but can’t let you leave if the your other teammates are AFK or not present. This leads to a likely loss in RP for your league rank. Fix this, please.

@-MemefulGamer-Loss forgiveness will grant a no rp loss if a player goes afk they are removed from the lobby completely. How did it exactly cause you to lose rp? Did the system not kick the afk from the lobby as it does normally?

If loss forgiveness is not granted upon afk kick that may be something they want to look at idle time forgiveness of afk team mate.

@-MemefulGamer- You will need to play the match out you will either earn your rp that you get for playing circle and or killing people or you will die with zero rp loss due to loss forgiveness. Never leave the match though.
