The behavior of Fuse ultimate ability
I've been maining Fuse since Season 14, and while I think he's a well-balanced Legend overall, I've recently found his ultimate increasingly difficult to use effectively. As other Legends' abilities and ultimates have become faster to activate and deploy, Fuse's kit feels comparatively sluggish.
Most characters have a straightforward process: aim, throw, activate—done. But Fuse requires multiple steps: aim, preview trajectory, activate, wait for the projectile to travel, then wait for it to land. This extended sequence feels slow and cumbersome. With the movement and acceleration buffs introduced in Season 26, this lack of speed has become even more pronounced.
While his ultimate is still useful for zoning grouped enemies or area denial, the recent buffs to Legends like Horizon and Valkyrie have diminished Fuse's role, which is disheartening for someone who genuinely enjoys playing him.
I'd suggest adjustments focused on either speed or containment: faster fire fall speed, increased flame wall height, or making it harder for enemies to escape the ring. I feel the true value of Fuse's ultimate isn't damage—it's area control and enemy detection. I hope the dev team considers thoughtful tuning in that direction.
