The current Apex Legends Matchmaking DESTROYS THE GAME

Do you mean the period around Christmas/New year? Because that was the sweatiest time in the history of casual modes. Every of my games were like high diamond/Predator-ranked. I believe the clip that @dlpaulson12  posted was from exactly that period of time and that was AWFUL.

But now a days, I really feel like the casual matchmaking is quite soft so I just dont understand what people are complaining about. It just seems to me that some Gold rank skilled players are pissed they arent the best in their lobbies... But they should be since they are only gold! Thats how I see casual game works; a big melting pot of players taken randomly from the entire skill distribution. If you want to only compete vs people around your same skill level, then play ranked.

Also, most SBMM complainer contradicts themselves.... Just think about this for a second: many people on this forum complains that their casual games always are soooo unfairly sweaty, totally stacked with the best players in the world. But as same time, many people on this forum also complains that their two randoms always are total noobs that cant play this game...  Now add these two things together.........

@BabbediboopiAlright, I'll try to describe what I currently see.

Honestly, when I queue up by myself, the current SBMM doesn't seem to be wildly broken/bad. I tend to get a mix of normal players, and sweaty TTV tryhards. About 25%-35% of the time it seems like I'm killed by sweaty TTV players. But I really don't think I'm good enough to deserve to be placed against these people in the first place.

I'm a little biased against TTV players, and in a wild pipedream I'd prefer to have all sweaty TTV players in their own lobby. But that's not realistic as skill level still varies even for them. But all the same, I still think I should be rarely seeing Predators,150+ season win people/20,000+ kills, etc..(Season 2-3 it seemed like I saw these people every single match, so I can't say SBMM isn't helping)

This is where I see the main issue.  When I play with a premade, it changes even more. The friends I play with are definitely worse at the game than I am. When they queue without me, they say their games are better, so my account seems to be secretly ranked higher. So when grouped with friends, my hidden rank puts us into a different matchmaking with 50%+ "sweaty lazered aim territory."

But I think a huge reason for this frequent sweaty aim is PC Aim Assist being so OP. I can't speak for consoles.

I have 1.05 K/D im not try hard etc. But i am mostly with 4-7 predators in game, few masters and champions have 25K+ kills, on Xbox. Most predators are using the xim. Also i cannot understand they kills my team in few secs with 100% accuracy where a while later they are killed by low level or newbie when i watching them. Magic? No. Cheats like xim. EA should make some program which recording reported player who propably uses the xim last 10mins and someone should verifying this. Becasue this is riddiculus. I want to play ranked games but also there i have situation where was, platinium, diamond and gold(HOW?) Sometimes i see more predators and masters on silver and gold rank games than normal players what's going on? I think if someone gets once Predator is only matchmaked with predators on every type of game. It takes the fun. I don't say they should remove totally much better players on different server becasue you never learn play better but there is the difference when you fight with someone who reached predator instead platinium for eg. MM is broken.

Its not just the MM, the ESP and Aim bots are so easy to get for this game its ridiculous.

A lot of 10k + kill people have zero recoil and know exactly where others are, just spectate them and they seem to get stomped because you are watching.

Reporting is a waste of time since the usual EA way the devs are forced to design more ways to make money then fight cheats and such, more skins, more packs, same useless anti cheat system.

The only way to have any kind of fun with the current MM is to create smurf accounts, play ranked untill you hit plat and then reroll another, the public mm is ridiculously broken, and plat + is a waste of time unless you have no life.

Its a shame, I had bought battle pass for every season and now I wont bother anymore, whats the point of playing your main and just getting destroyed all the time, I only smurf nowdays or play valo cause that game has a proper anti cheat system, no 40k kills TTV no recoil sweatfest there.

It's been a while and it's the same thing, although nowadays you only need 1.2 K/D to get into pred lobbies. I played with my decayed bronze II account (I was gold las split I think) and got a silver teammate, a plat teammate and the champions were a 2 times master 22000 kills player (Plat 4 that game), a plat 4 and a gold 2. I don't even know how I got a plat teammate (maybe because I was in gold before?) but it wasn't my first game after the split so ikd.

My games are regularly filled with heavily more skilled players. Both in my own squad as well as enemy squads. It sort of takes away the fun of playing the game as the casual play style I use doesn't have much weight or value. You can only really have fun if you dedicate soul and time into the game to improve. Only then you can enjoy the game to the fullest. Before that, most of your games will consist of unfair situations. Hate me for it or don't, but this game heavily favors the skilled folk.

@NintekkdoI have been running into this issue lately in public lobbies to where Im seeing 10k+ kill players frequently, Im assuming its because of a few things

#1 The Content Drought, everyone is on other games so the queue is just filling whoever it can and mixing everyone together

#2 ranked split just started so if high ranked players are grinding ranked, the few in public lobbies have to go somewhere 

#3 playerbase is split between BR and Arena

@Peri_Longbow_plzApex Legends has no casual game modes, every single mode is a complete sweat fest especially Arenas

all these lobbies do is leave players feeling burnt out and forcing them to look for other games to play, even Staycation was ‘’ranting’’ about it earlier in his latest video and he wasn’t wrong at all I have been feeling the same way for months and months and I don’t see how content creators can put up with it every day
