@FaIIenAngeI777 The evo shields are underpowered in the regular game modes, but they aren’t always a bad idea. If I have the option between a purple evo or a regular purple, I’d take the evo. Heck, if it was a blue evo that already had some damage on it, I’d probably take it. (Kind of depends on what I plan on doing, as it would be great if I was going sniper.)
I don’t think everyone should only have evo shields, as that would still have some rng of it’s own. Say you land out of the way to get good gear without having to fight like 3 other squads. Then, you might travel for a long time before you find another squad, who probably has already been in a fight. Bam, it’s your squad with 125 health each vs a squad who probably has 150-225 health already.
(You didn’t exactly say that there wouldn’t be any other shields, but if you’re trying to fix it so that people didn’t get too overpowered shields at the beginning, it implies that you remove most body shields from the regular loot table.)
