I don't see why this had to be its own thread nothing really new has been said and a bump of one of the many threads with the same stuff said in it would of been fine.
the tldr; too expensive for shop skins, crafting material instead of badges, upset that they didnt put challenges for this bp.
As for my opinion yeah it was really crappy the only thing that can make it worth it is getting coins back for the next pass. I dont care about getting crafting material but the character skins should be more then just face paint, lets get mask,helmets, gold plated armor, diamond armor, more detailed face feature, complete re-work of the model not 1 hour tweaks of them. And get animation (such as taunts and dances) unlocks, not trackers
Yeah, I could have placed this under a post already but my goal isn't just to say "the content is crap". I think it's important to distinguish why so much of the community is disappointed and that's because we want more options and this battle pass didn't really offer any of that. There is plenty of room for more creative content, but not my goal to put all that in here.

Admittedly AL's Battle Pass is semi garbage. Yep I bought it.
The difference is Fortnite doesn't resort to loot boxes. Hell, loot boxes aren't even a thing in that game. It's strictly currency and there are numerous ways to earn it up without buying it. If Respawn wanted to match Epic's battle pass formula, they should have went ahead and added weekly challenges worth a certain amount of Apex Coins or Crafting Metal on completion. Crafting Metal is what most people are really after at the end of the day. It's satisfying to get a legendary cosmetic from a loot box, even for a character you don't one-trick or a gun you hardly ever use. But people really want to get the crafting material to unlock cosmetics for legends and guns that they do use frequently.
Quite honestly, I would have taken Crafting Metal over the Apex Packs in the battle pass.
The battle pass is ok, nothing great but worth the price.... the economy is definitely broken though, not so much on character skins but weapon skins is horrible, no one is going to pay 18 dollars for a alternator skin then spend legend tokens for the exclusive that's the same dang skin but different color....lol... fortnite skins cost 8-20 bucks depending on variant so that's pretty par for the course but weapon skins should be no more then 3-4 dollars. Also the item shop doesn't update fast enough, literally i play lifeline as a main and the option to buy one of her legendary skins has only been in the shop once since the game came out, having the chance to buy a skin in the shop shouldn't happen every 2 months... and there's no way I'm buying anymore apex packs just to get 1 of the 4 million intro or kill quips for a legend
