The game is too slow
I know they already made the circle come in quicker, but it still feels too slow.valorant games can take an hour, yet i feel less bored playing it, since rounds last minutes and you always need to be...
Camping is nowhere near chess. Camping is the easiest and laziest way to play shooters since the beginning of FPS. It's literally the "i want to play the game, but not really" strategy. Chess is methodical, calculated, and requires many years to master. Camping when you're a defense character is understandable but at the final ring, everyone has to move anyway. I hate the periods when nothing is happening, because this game is just not complex, like chess and TCGs. You loot up, choose your fights, try to avoid 3rd parties, and try to hold the best places in the ring.
@Zulkiers This is a very unique view that iv'e never heard before Unfortunately for you they would never do this. Apex from its conception was to be EAs casual and competitive BR because battle royals were the most popular thing at the time, but it was never meant to be a game that would last past 25 minutes. The art is cool but most people dont care about it to your degree, especially players like me that turn our graphics settings to dirt quality to make are gameplay as smooth as possible. Making royal an hour long or more would kill the game. People aren't here to be in a match for that long. If you want to admire the map then just land at different places every match. The Devs bottom line is not map art, its to continue making money and keeping people playing, because this is a free game. If you want a crazy long BR then you should make one that cost a flat price, because most people donr want to walk around for sn hour.
If you don’t see how camping is like a strategic chess move then you don’t understand the concept of positioning your pieces.
@MrGreenWithAGun As i said, defense characters camping is understandable and camping itself is needed for keeping a position, but everyone has to push eventually in a battle royale
