Agree with almost all of that. But I especially liked the theory about "fewer bullets fired is easier on the servers." I was saying the same thing years ago when Halo dropped the iconic battle rifle for the DMR. Not saying that was the sole reason why Halo started slipping but it sure didn't help. And it sure isn't helping here either. Good call.
