A game with fair match making? Any game with an Elo-like system, which creates matches where everyone is a similar Elo. Pretty much anything non-Elo based is just a gated pubstomp mode.
Other issue is that sbmm for matching randoms seems to just be about average sbmm rating of team, so if you're good (for the lobby you are in), you will usually get two bad team mates. In the lobby you can expect to find some premades with the same average rating, but all be similar skill, some premades all of higher skill, and a load more groups like your own random 2 bad 1 good, and a few awful teams. Essentially what you end up with is every random team is 1 solo and 2 cannon fodder, then you have a few premades who are likely to win, and the weaker premades still have a chance if they 3rd correctly, or are assisted by some surviving good solos. Occasionally the system actually matches you up with a couple of players who are at your level and puts you in a lobby where you are relatively strong. It's a sort of "wait your turn to have a chance to win" sort of thing if you solo queue.
The same average sbmm team creation seems to occur in ranked for the solos there.
So, whatever you do, as a solo random queuer, you are usually going to have to squad wipe, including premades, to have fun.
To squad wipe in this environment with any consistency you have to be a whole other level of mechanical skill strat tactics compared to many of the enemy.
Since you're going to be essentially solo vs whole teams of your skill in casual and ranked as a random, you may as well simply go smurfing, where you will be solo vs whole teams of an often manageable skill level. Lots of people do this. This means there are often a load of smurfs at low ranks, and this is great: you have a load of people to gather loot for you and you get some nice fights vs other smurfs 1v1. We have created our own solo queue, since random team matchmaking is unbearable due to premades and effectively solo mode anyway.
Some people may say git gud i have 5kd 15% win bla bla at whatever point they are at... well those people are simply playing people way below their skill level, even at predator the skill gaps are huge, and the REASON mediocre teams can get to those places, is because they don't have to fight premades of similar skill, they can just stomp good solo + 2 cannon fodder in the games with hard premades and still place, and they get their big point gains when they are the hard team in the lobby.
Ofcourse this means the flow of new players will dry up faster and faster as they are stomped on as a makeshift solo queue, then those using it as a solo queue will move on, and then ranks will become much harder and a lot of people will quit when they can no longer achieve the ranks they previously could without grinding even more (if they can reach those ranks at ALL when faced with a lobby full of premade and not half random solo queuers matchmade to * them as much as possible, most of the time.
If they will not
