There is a lot that you can do to have an influence/control over third-partying that some players havent incorporated in their game.
When you spot an enemy team and plan to fight them you have A LOT of information given to you that can help you estimate the probability of your team (or the enemy team) getting third partied.
You have:
- your teams previous movements to your current position on the map (in relation to)
- the enemy teams position on the map, (in relation to),
- how the current circle is positioned, (in relation to)
- how the next next circle is positioned, (in relation to)
- how far you are into the current round, (in relation to)
- how many teams there are left in the match, (in relation to)
- Have you heard any fighting in your vicinity (if not, then the chance is high that enemy teams are nearby, ESPECIALLY early game)
And even if you consider all these variables and decides to take the fight, you ofc still can be third partied, but even then, you can choose, as a team, to disengage the fight in the direction that makes it a 3v3v3.Or just disengage entirely and let them fight it out. I mean, the game even tells if its a player from a third team that attacks you.
I never play like this in casual, but in ranked, especially in Diamond +, I think it adds another dimension of strategy in the game that I even think is necessary to reach Master unless your aim is above average Diamond.
