This game is unplayable solo
I play this game a lot by myself in trios and I swear to god most days its 10 out of 10 games people just go hot (or not) and as soon as they go down they insta quit meanwhile I'll play 'smart' and t...
I gotta say, I'm sorry you've had to experience these matches. I've gotten used to them myself. When Apex Legends first launched... and still, during season 1 and 2 or so... Players generally stayed in the match till it was over. I see teammates -and enemies give up way too early. Many times, a teammate will get downed, maybe another teammate too; But they will disconnect right away- before I get to them. BUT, I'll end up sweeping the entire squad solo and I'll send 'em a clip and gloat about it.
Many times, when I get teammates who only want kills, I'll let 'em go. If their activity and actions while looting show that they're more interested in rushing to battle; I'll let 'em go and not follow many times. Like if I see a teammate not pinging any loot, not even opening supply bins or looting areas fully, or running towards gunfire as soon as they can; I'll make a note on them.
I never give up on pinging intents or loot, but if I can tell they're not interested... I'm ready.
Playing solo after teammates abandon you can be still fun though! You can still sweep teams who're fighting eachother, and even win the match-! As I have many times, as well as others.
Thanks for the reply @StarMystro. Yeah I've been playing since the beginning and its been bad at times but lately for me it's EVERY game. Its so aggravating. I 100% know what you mean about as soon as teammates go down they instantly quit. And as soon as one goes its like the likelihood of the next teammate repeating is multiplied by 10. I think going hot or not is a different thing and I'm like you, I prefer to rather fully loot an area before to engage not just get a pistol and jump into 3 expecting to win. If people choose to go hot I'll roll with it but I'm not going to loot around 10 squads and get nothing, I'd rather run to somewhere with loot that's quiet and then engage once ready. You sound like how I play a lot haha.
I do usually play solo even after people leave, I'll never just quit. It would be nice to just have a full squad though!
Whew that's true! I'm not gonna fight a battle when I know there's atleast some better gear around. So many times I'll see like a dozen teams go into one hotspot, and ofcourse, there's not enough loot- let alone Guns for everyone! Having a full squad that plays similarly helps indeed. Sometimes- only sometimes, I'll manage to steer my teammates into better circumstances. I'll ping a heck of a lot- and I don't mean spamming, but I'll say "Looting over here", then as I notice my team is getting "bored" or the loot is being exhausted, I'll ping (as a suggestion) for us to go perhaps outside the "expected" Ring, to loot more. And whether they follow right away or not I'll ping "Heading this way" (the bottom choice in the ping wheel) and sometimes, they'll catch on.
Or when I start pinging level 2 gear or goodies- they'll hightail it towards me.
@StarMystro Yeah for sure I always ping loot too as its just common sense courtesy in my opinion. Do you play on Xbox by chance? Should play!
@DrSeptimus Yeah man I hear ya there, must be so tilting!
how to send them a clip? that will be my new thing because i experience the same
This is an old thread, I will close it now but feel free to create a new thread if you like, thanks.
