Yeah its actually exactly how Respawn do protect new players, i.e detecting smurfs on new accounts and then place them in the normal matchmaking queue.  Two level 2s on the same team is more likely than not a premade duo of smurfs on new accounts.

People should really stop caring about account levels. Level has nothing to do with skill. There are pred level players on level 10 smurfs accounts, diamond level players on main accounts level 150s (just skilled FPS players who doenst grind Apex) and level 500+ with 0.2 KD who never hit gold.

They are not smurfs, they are real new accounts - I looked on how they behave, how they loot and later how they shoot - these are low skilled players that should not be playing with me or against other players on my or above my level.
