This would calm many upset minds about SBMM/unfair matchmaking

So, one of the most debated topics on this forum since last christmas is SBMM. It seems to me that too many people think they always are in an disadvantage because of an "unfair" matchmaking.  People at ALL skill levels seem to think their matches always are super stacked, crowded with 20 Predators, when it really is around 2-4 max.

So I suggest that you, when your squad is eliminated, would be presented with information about your K/D in comparison with the rest of the lobby  and perhaps also your killer. It could be just text, or even a graph like the one below under death recap or maybe under a separate tab.

I think something like this would not only calm many people who feel great frustration about the entire matchmaking, but also keep up the motivation to become better.

  • @BalladalidilaI think they could use KD/R as the main statistic to determine lobby placement as well. Have ranks based on a players ratio.

It's too much work to throw many games to lower your ratio, so that eliminates most smurfs.
And after a smurf makes a new account and has one 20 kill game they are instantly in a top tier KD/R category, and would have to spend multiple hours throwing games to ruin that hot ratio.

How many players would actually spend hours trying to tank their ratio just to get in a noob lobby again? Not many I don't think.

@Pure_Funk_NuggetDon't underestimate the stupidity of idiots.

Imagine how many games you must throw to go from bronze, silver or gold 1 back down to 4 or how many times you must solo hotdrop and insta die just to get put into a bot lobby for high kill games. Many, many players are doing this now (as bad as smurfing) as those badges are the only things they can ''achieve'' to show off or sell accounts. It's literally the only reason they play now.

KD/R is easily manipulated by leaving before you die and someone who is roughly a 1.0 KD/R can show themselves as a 3.0+. Respawn have a wealth of data they can use to make better matchmaking.

  • @Balladalidila Sounds neat only problem i see with it is you will being seeing preds/masters with K/D of around 25 - 3.5 all way up to 15. if I recall right best gibby in world has k/d of 15 or so lifetime games. This guy will def be placed into any lobby the que will allow. There are only soo many people with these K/D so they will be placed where ever because chances of them being paired with those of = K/D. There would be no games for these type of players.
