I generally agree with your points.
Regular review and updates to the system are likely necessary for long-term operation.
Your suggestion could also be a catalyst for expanding players' gameplay variety. It would make it easier to imagine the playstyles of people who approach the game differently. It would also benefit the promotion of teamwork, and promoting teamwork is essential for a battle royale game.
However, I believe it ultimately depends on the developers' resources. You've been careful not to make excessive demands, considering the burden on them. But even so, the developers' resources are finite, and there are many other challenges they face. They'll have no choice but to prioritize.
Your proposal is definitely not in vain, nor is it an unreasonable request. But whether the current situation allows for it, I'm not sure.
Appreciate the thoughtful response. I get what you're saying-dev time isn't infinite, and priorities are always gonna shift depending on what's breaking, what's trending, or what needs to drop next season. I'm not blind to that.
That's exactly why I didn't go full wishlist mode with 100 new challenges or some overhaul suggestion. Just feels like if they're already rotating maps, legends, and limited-time modes, dropping in even a small batch of updated achievements per year could go a long way. Doesn't need to be a whole new system-just something that reflects how much the game's evolved. Because let's be real, Apex ain't in the same place it was back in 2019, and neither are we as players.
You nailed it with the point about promoting teamwork and encouraging different playstyles-that's exactly the heart of it. Some people would never touch certain legends or tactics unless they were nudged to try them. This kind of system could be that nudge, in a low-pressure, rewarding way.
And hey, even if it's not possible right now, doesn't hurt putting the thought out there. If enough of the community wants it, it might eventually hit the right radar.
Thanks again for actually engaging instead of just "nah bro" commenting. Respect.
