As opposed to guessing right off the selection screen when you see your teammate has no badges, no level, no stats and finding out when the game launches that you either have a noob who still hasn't figured out basic game mechanics - or - your teammate is a cracked smurf account that stomps the lobby while you play keep up?
If they rely on players to report cheaters and smurfs (report options they have put in place) would it not stand to reason that being able to see what their true level is, makes that more simple, more accurate and easily obvious to know the difference between a good player that has put in his time as opposed to a new low level beginner that has apex skills, apex map, movement knowledge etc and plays like a pro?
And the elitists would be the smurfs at that point anyway. At least in my lobbies with my KD and shouldn't be there anyway. So them leaving is just fine by me.
This is simple logic to me.
Also the Dev's having the ability to know their level doesn't help me any when it comes to reporting when I am unable to see or know what their level is. Remember, it is the players they are relying on to report. So give us proper tools to do so. Knowing ones true level is the basic level 1 step or first and most important tool to have/know.
At this point, might as well report every single player that has no level and no badges put plays like a god, because without the level, one has no idea and is literally guessing at that point. Or one doesn't report, and the smurf keeps on smurfing.
Either way, it is a simple little thing that can really help reduce false reports and help identify real smurf accounts.
