The Client Server stack is not the issue the overloaded VM's and holiday period + the amount of attacks from around the world contribute to this, It's Load balancing not working at their data center and they underestimated the amount of connections to power needed.

Battlenonsense knows his stuff well, Dice contacted him to get his help in fixing/improving Battlefield. Apex legends has the worse "netcode" of every single BR triple A title on the market, and it's also worse than any FPS title recently released.
