Tactics and positioning absolutely mean a lot in this game. Your team play with each legends abilities is vital, and this is part of your tactics. What do you think moving through bangalore smoke or coordinating a wraith teleport is? Positioning is also extremely important. So much so that a few of the best abilities in the game, such as pathfinders zipline or wraiths phase ability, are all about changing position. You need to start playing the game as it was meant to be played and learn about its unique use of tactics and positioning instead of trying to make it play like some other game.
Positioning is almost useless in that game. What does positioning means for me? It's an instrument to land 2-3 shoots more than enemy even if you have same aim as enemy. In most games with normal ttk (3-5 shots to kill) it means you win a battle cause you just need 1 more bullet to kill enemy in "fair" (where is opponent corrected his position to be equal while taking this 2-3 shots) firefight.
But what do 2-3 shoots mean in that game? Nothing. It's kinda 20% of enemy hp and all your positioning can be easily countered by better enemy aim. You can say "shoot to the head" but shooter where headshots mean so much is just garbage cause it makes game aim-core not a mix of tactic and aim.
So players with perfect tactic and mediocre aim will struggle to fight against players with very bad tactic but good aim. Just look at Shroud or Dr. Disrespect streams. They just jump around and shoot. It's not a good positioning. But they win almost every match cause perfect aim.

Mentioning Shroud and Doc and saying they don't use tactics is 100% incorrect. They are able to play as they do because their tactics and teamwork is brilliant. They have, as a team, positional advantage in a majority of their fights. They ping, call out and constantly move and re position on people. Once again, you guys need to learn to play the game before you start trying to change it.

I don't understand the question? The point of my post was to point out that they are able to play the way they do because their squad is so tactically strong. If they were playing with randoms then yes, it would be much harder for them to play that way depending on the quality of the random players in their squad.
