Lolz I’d be surprised if someone would do an accelerant if getting shot. ‘Hey I got shot... lemme do my ultimate!’ That’s a bit weird. But I think it’s in reference to that other person’s comment regarding popping the accelerant during a battle. That I do but only if I know I can get away with it and if my ult will help.
As gibraltar, lifeline (in early/mid game), wattson, lifeline, caustic if final circle is indoors and bloodhound it’s good to have spare accelerants in your pocket for the end. Wait you can’t see the need for wattson players using it?
@Koochi-Q Oh yeah there's nothing more satisfying than making it rain as Gibraltar during the last ring. Your squad indoors and the other outside on the roof. Drop your Ult then aim your gun at the doors for an easy win.
Also no I don't see the need for it but I'm not saying she gets no benefit from ultimate accelerants. Her Ult charges quickly on its own and only takes a single accelerant to get it back. When I play her she has her ultimate ready for most fights whether I charge it or not. She benefits from popping them but because she charges her Ult quickly on her own she's never needed them as badly as my fave character.
There are situations this change could help but overall I think this change would have little value to most players or even be seen as a detriment.
- 6 years ago@heme725 I know, I’ve won a couple of games with gibraltar like that. When playing with some buddies we had roughly 4 accelerants ready for first who threw ult. One caustic and one gibraltar xD. Making it rain outdoors and if they come charging in our dome, making it stink indoor :P good times.
True true. I just like having an ult ready as Wattson, pop it, throw an interceptor as bullet fodder/throwable repellent. But you make good points
