If you want to retain new players then don't give them a pain in th butt by forcing them to play the first 5 basic legends for tens of hours then letting them try a 6th for tens of hours , etc.Having the legends locked was fine if you started playing at season 2 but now with 16 legends and only 5 very old legends unlocked at first is pretty stupid in my opinion... it doesnt make you want to play against 16 other legends that you don't know how they are played you can't even play them.ALL legends should be unlocked from the start, we love the legends most of us don't play the first 5 legends anymore so you should unlock them for new players so they can have a good taste of the game at season 11 not season 2 !!!

@Palette24caratsRogue Company is similar but I have to say it is much easier because you get 500 medals per your 3 daily quests and you only need either 10 or 20k medals to unlock a new character (most of them are 20k) but between 1.5k from dailys and 500 medals per level it only takes a couple of weeks (or less) to get enough for a new character and they also have 15k medal skins for each rogueI guess that is something else Apex could do is give 200-300 legend tokens per daily quest so you can get an extra 1k-1.5k a day

@DK9027 yes it is... I started playing PC 2 weeks ago, played tens of hours, I have only been able to unlock 1 legend.

@Palette24carats The grind is nothing. Anyway until you reach 500 you don't really know anything.

@Palette24carats You can always buy pass to level faster, but seriously, where would fun go if you would have all characters instantly unlocked??

Hey there and welcome to Apex and the Apex community.
It would not be fair to do what you suggested. Many of us have put in the time and effort to get those things.
Rewards for no effort is the best way to bore people.
Put in the work, reap the rewards for your efforts.

@Asmodeus566 it doesnt work like that, everybody has the right to enjoy the game in the same way, no matter how long you have been playing, this is getting ridiculous!!!
I played 80 hours and have only unlocked 1 legend.
How stupid is it that I get skins 80% of the time for legends that I can't unlock ?? it doesnt make ANY sense! It made sense during the first seasons where everybody was able to unlock all legends by playing a season or 2... but now it is ridiculous, it breaks the whole skins, halo sprays, emotes, sky dive emotes rewards that we can get, new players can't even use them, you think they enjoy playing apex like it is still season 1 but WITHOUT the rewards (80% go wasted on unlocked legends)???? ridiculous

I have put in my time for my rewards, as have many others.
Why don't we just unlock all the good stuff for you?Because you have to earn it.
