Since the new update, the graphics have deteriorated, the image freezes when moving. If there is an action (fight), it is almost impossible to follow where I move the view. The colors are also different. It's like my Xbox One X is suddenly underpowered. Because of these, the game is currently unplayable, and I can't move and aim properly due to image stuttering. My friends have experienced similar things on their game consoles.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Is your console possibly overheating? Make sure the vents are free of any debris and your console is in a well ventilated location. Also, do you have Apex installed on the internal hard drive or do you use an external one?

I've noticed (on the same console) huge framerate drops across all br maps. If you're on the edge of the map (as I always am) looking into the map center it's downright distracting and probably not really playable, unless you like your 2004 graphics with a 7hz refresh.
ed. Game installed on built-in drive. Never experienced this before, not even the fabled Olympus issue. It started first br match with the season 16 launch and continues on every br venue. TDM is fine. From a framerate stance.

Not really sure what to try. No other game is affected. This game wasn't affected until the update. Hence the problem is in the update? I assumed that all the balloons and frippery they addded were responsible, especially as much of it is animated. And I exaggerated about the 7hz. It's still playable, but it's jerky. If I was a cqc player it would be a problem, but I'm a sniper and I don't move when I shoot so the problem doesn't affect my ability to engage.

@tomyrico893670 I think maybe this might be your console. Myself and 4 friends all use Xbox Series X consoles, one on S and we've had no issues at all. If anything, it's been way more smooth this season. Last season we were getting lag, rubber banding and Dcs non stop, we've had none of that at all this season so far.

It sits on top of a table, five inches clear on the left and on the back where the fan blows out, completely clear top, front, and right side. I haven't noticed the fan blow heavy during Apex like it does when I'm forging in Infinite. Nothing strains the machine like forge mode. But I'll pay more attention as I'm playing over the next few days.

@reconzero mate same here - after this small update game is lags - but i think its server causes lags - any other online shooters work fine

Thanks for those details. Have you checked your HDMI cable to make sure it's fully connected and not damaged? Also, it would be good to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not.
