Update Notifications?!

I've become weary of launching the game only to find out there's an update. 
I get very little time to play, and the smallest update takes at least 1hr 15mins to install.

Is there anywhere where I can find out - in advance - from EA/Respawn - when an update will drop? 

Pretty sure the answer is "no".

I've tried
• Discord - (a messy site imo) which I can't find any links to relevant posts.
• Leaving the PS4 on standby, allowing it to auto update the game - doesn't work seeing as the PS4 checks for update once a day, before these updates drop, making the whole process useless.

If any of you Legends reading this have any suggestions on how I can get a heads up on updates, please, let me know!
