@RedeemedJay09 It honestly sounds like they just want players to pay money for each account they own.
Apex Mobile is a completely different game and won't ever be cross-play or cross-progression. Yeah, it would be hard for mobile players to fight PC and console players in this kind of game, yet I haven't seen that stop Fortnite or PUBG. This game version was built from the ground up with the intended idea of being mobile only.
As for the main game, its been 3 years and 125 days since the game's launch (February 4, 2019), and 1 year, and 250 days since cross-play was released (Oct 1, 2020). Judging how long it took Apex to get cross-play implemented, and considering that Apex Mobile was released on May 17, 2022, (which seems to be getting more attention than the main game), we most likely won't see cross-progression until 2023-2025, if that.
I also heard that a lot of console players are regretting starting on console as they have moved to the PC version and have to start over. This shouldn't of logically been allowed to happen, as cross-play and cross-progression should of been worked on sooner. At least, if I had a game that suddenly got popular like Apex, I wouldn't waste time to allow players to enjoy it from any platform.
