Vantage Hitbox - Request for Consideration

Dear Respawn,

I'm writing to provide feedback on Vantage, the Legend introduced in Season 14. While I appreciate her unique abilities, I believe her hitbox size might be a bit on the large side compared to her visual model.

Here are some points to consider:

  1. Oversized Hitbox: Vantage's hit registration feels significantly larger than her character model suggests. This leads to situations where shots appear to hit but don't register damage, causing frustration and potentially hindering Vantage's effectiveness in combat.
  2. Balance and Risk vs. Reward: A larger hitbox can make Vantage a more vulnerable target, especially when using her tactical ability to reposition. This could potentially hinder her aggressive playstyle and overall viability.

Possible Solutions:

  • Refine Hitbox: Respawn has a history of adjusting hitboxes to better match a Legend's visual profile. Perhaps Vantage's hitbox could be refined to more closely resemble her character model.
  • Maintain Balance: If a hitbox reduction is implemented, consider alternative balancing adjustments to ensure Vantage remains a powerful but not overpowered Legend.

    I would have thought an over-sized hit box would lead to situations where shots do NOT appear to hit and yet they register damage.

    What is it about Vantage's abilities that lead you to qualify her as inherently aggressive?

    I would have said that they have a history of adjusting hitboxes to stop any quantifiable size-based performance advantage. Gibby and Caustic got a damage nerf rather than a hitbox adjustment. Wraith got a hitbox tweak that may have been noticeable to pros, but seemed the same to me. And here we are, five years into the game, and Pathfinder still has a hitbox that bares almost no relation to his visual footprint.
