New meta is volt or devotion and get somewhat close. Near instant time to kill. Why does this feel like call of duty now? I don't play CoD because of the very fast time to kill. Poor decision in my opinion. Why make the game like another game, people will just go back to CoD. Longer time to kill and being able to shoot back is what made Apex great. Now you will die to the volt or devo if you use ANY other gun. Maybe the r99 could compete, but good luck finding one now. Prowler auto was nerfed so hard that bullets go around people now..These guns need a change or it will be nothing but volts and devotions on every winning team. Is that the meta you wanted?!?

Spot on, just thought I'd add another thing. One of the reasons games like Fortnite are dying is due to the well established meta. The advantage of a two gun system is that you never know what your opponent will be using, and your own load out is different in each game. The, "do I take a sniper or a shotgun?" kind of decision is becoming irrelevant. If everyone ends up using a devotion and volt each game, things will become jaded and uninteresting. Just look at what happened to Fortnite with the scar and the pump/chargeEdit: Now the patch notes have been released, there is a notable improvement. Much credit to respawn for fixing things so fast. However, these changes wouldn't have been necessary had things been balanced from the start.

Yea really don't understand the dev's decision to less the time of TTK it wasn't very long before and at least when you got shot you still felt like if you hit your shots you could stilled damage before you die or at least heal. But it's kinda just like.... get spotted by a devo/turbo.... Die. or hide for the rest of the game.

@CRRAZYM3X1CANO respect the decision to just make all shields EVO but lessening the GOLD and RED evo?? I would think they're the best for a reason. but I mean, sure.....

Yea outside of the kick of the 1st bullet the devo has little to no recoil, and the volt is no different honestly.

During season 5 I got back into Apex and started having a really good timemajority of the guns were at a decent place...then season 6 came and everything has changedI feel like I want to leave apex now because all people do is rush with the volt and the devotionand with the reduced shields, these fast firing guns added to the game feel out of placeand apex doesn't feel like apex anymoreif I wanted this fast TTK I would've just played war zonethe new gun meta is really taking away from the apex experience

Volt / Devotion too powerful. Time to kill feels like CoD.

The biggest problem is not the guns, it's the shields. They need to make the gold shield 100hp again with faster healing instead of double cell healing, and make the red shield 125hp. That is the problem, they are gold and red for a reason, but right now they just feel like what the blue and purple felt like. Better players with great aim can 1 clip anyone, no matter what shield they have giving others less chance to live. This is going to drive the average player to quit the game, instead of getting better. That is what they need to fix, not the guns.

Devotion was silently nerfed from 17 to 16 damage per bullet. Recoil was slightly increased. The devotion is on their radar for more changes.
Still very powerful weapon. Can be hip fired without much penalty.

I agree that the new TTK is ridiculous. S5 had a more inclusive tactical balance. The combat experience left room for thought. S6 is more polarized, reduced to "killbox" or avoidance. Throw in really uneven loot drops, and Apex is devolving into a game of chance.

the devotion is weaker than the volt. it ruins ramparts passive. because the spitfire is worse than the devotion. and the l-star heavy is worse than the spitfire. all light machine guns are worse than the volt. not even close.

@gg123xyzI personally think the Devo is the strongest gun in the game but there are so many good viable guns in season 6. Hemlock, Flatline, Prowler. Havoc, Devotion, Volt, R301, Mastiff, G7, Triple take, Longbow and Even the Eva 8 are viable. Now we just need a little bit of adjustment to the Devo and maybe the Volt and we are good to go.

Oh and buff the friggin Alternator... Please. 👍

@xx_Dante2k_xx hemlok, burst prowler, volt, devo, triple take are the only viable guns this season. I think the Eva, mastiff, g7, havoc, and longbow are strong but cannot compete with how little effort it takes to either laser or two burst someone with each of the guns I listed. Everyone in my lobbies is pretty much exclusively running these guns, with a skullpiercer wingman here and there.

@Pallo420 I'm pretty sure the devs are going to nerf those weapons soon enough. Just like Octane when he slowly gets his buff.
