As for ultimate accelerants perhaps I was too dismissive but personally, unless I'm running lifeline, I feel to make it worthwhile you have to use more than one and in order to do this you are required to drop/swap items multiple times (unless you have a decent backpack) which leaves you vulnerable to say the least.
Every legend has time duration on their special ability. Can you explain why watson special ability no time duration? That's why in rank mode during the third circle still has around 7-9 squads left. Sometimes can be 12 squads left. Just camp and enemy cannot throw grenade etc. It should be nerf by giving time duration.
- 6 years ago@MyLife1k I don't think that's true. Pathfinder for one does not have that and also Octane.
Wattson Ult, just like Octanes, can be destroyed and that is why it does not have a time limit on it.
The whole, "Sometimes can be 12 squads left." Could just be because it is ranked and everyone wants to be first place. Fortnite is the same way. the smallest circle usually has around 5-10 players still alive because again, it is ranked and being first means a lot. - 6 years ago

In all seriousness, as mentioned above, it can be shot and destroyed. I don't see any problem with that and even if it isn't easily destroyed, due to position or you don't want to give your position away, it doesnt mean the other team are invincible or harder to kill, it just means you can't use grenades.You could argue gunfights can be decided by grenades and a well placed arc star but we always knew grenade spam would be countered sooner or later so now, or if a Wattson is about, different tactics are required.

If your team get a golden backpack and give it to Wattson the ul accelerants are eaten even faster.
Unlike the "toss and forget" potential with someone like Caustic and his gas traps : I think if you're going to play with a Wattson in your team in order to access the considerable advantages she brings you have to push for the situations where the advantage for her is strongest all the time. The teams I've come up against who tailor their game to fit having Wattson around are brutal to fight.
My friends who main her basically run teams by getting up to 3P engage distance to teams fighting and set up what is more or less a forward operating base. Team comp is usually Wattson + a defensive character like gibbles/caustic and then either lifeline for heals or wraith for merciless portalling in and out of trapped areas or through bad zone spots.
Once the above teams get either a gold helmet or gold backpack (or god forbid both) they're at a significant advantage if they can play the zone locations well as they are an absolute nightmare to push, provided the Wattson is good with positioning.
Wattson doesn't need a buff at all, she just needs good complementary teamplay.
