Wattson's core issue: Her abilities can't be mobile.
After some more time with Wattson, I got around to recording exactly why her kit feels so pointless. I made a post about this earlier but I offered some broad solutions that probably won't solve the root of the problem, so I will consider this post an addendum.

The Core Issue:
Her kit is mostly pointless since it requires the team to stay put in a game so heavily driven by mobility. More often than not you think a team is going to fight somewhere, you set up, then a minute later all your setup is abandoned and better served by an enemy team.
The not solution:
Allowing her to pick up her pylon for ult charge would not solve the problem, it would just allow her to more frequently setup mostly useless pylons, all while nearly invalidating her accelerant passive as when you would want to use it is not when you are nearly empty but instead when you picked up a pylon and need it now.
The actual solution:
- Pressing the ult key should deploy the pylon on her back, much like rampart can just pull her minigun off and use it. She can't attack while it is active but it will still do everything a pylon normally does, and she can run with it active. She can then choose to deploy the pylon, store it, or put it on cooldown to recharge.
- Double the pylon's energy pool, but make it so that intercepting ordinance uses energy just like healing shields does.
- Just like with rampart, her ultimate uses charge when deployed on her back, but it can be stored and used for its remaining value until placed on cooldown or deployed on the ground.
- Using accelerant should add 100% of the max energy pool value to the pylon's energy pool value (allowing the pool to go to 200% if used at full charge). This will allow her passive to still be useful without being forced to empty her ult before using.
