We need to talk about the lack of game modes

I've argued for a long time that simply allowing players to select and play each mode in Mixtape mode at any time would vastly increase the number of game modes that could be selected at the same time, but they have refused to do so.

Apparently they are adamant about not increasing the number of game modes that can be played at the same time.

I really don't understand why they're so adamant about not adding more game modes to choose from.

Perhaps by forcibly reducing the number of game modes that can be selected at the same time to prevent players from being dispersed, they are intentionally hiding the fact that, due to the already rapidly declining player base, it is difficult to even get a proper match, and deceiving players into thinking that the game is still popular. Or perhaps the servers are simply so weak that it is physically impossible to increase the number of modes that can be played at once in the first place.

Yeah that makes sense. What they don't realize is that if we had more game modes, then we would have way more new people playing, and just more people overall. We'd maybe even see an increase of people in ranked lobbies. 

I've been saying this for years as well and it's so incredibly sad that we get these cool LTM's and they're yanked away from us in 10 days :(
