Weapon Swapping with new Loot Box looting?

With the new loot box design I can't see how to swap the secondary weapon without exiting the loot box, swapping my weapons and then re-looting (unlike the previous design).

e.g. In the attached screenshot if I want to swap my Wingman for either the Longbow or the Alternator I have to exit the loot box, swap to the Wingman and the open the death box again and click & hold on either of the weapons.

Or am I missing something?

Note: This is on PC.
