Damn. That was funny, and it's funny because it's true.
@BigMacAttack8u
"you are invisible if you don’t move"
Sometimes true. Often not. And I'm not just talking about Seer. There's also Vantage and Bloodhound. And wall hackers. And just plain knowing where people are likely to be and suddenly, Wallah! There they are.

Forgot to mention the one thing that really helped from being a hardstuck d4 to eventually peak master: Every time you die, calm down for a couple of seconds and then try to really objectively and unbiased evaluate what you did badly (and well) in that situation and what you could/should have done differently. I can strongly recommend to play with some kind of recording software on and go back and look. You will learn so much when you actually can see what is going on during the situation that lead to your loss, or any other unfortunate events for that matter.
I think most of the people who come to this forum and blame their teammates for their failures would learn so much from this. Some things you will see in those replays is that very often, situation when you instinctively wanna blame your teammates, happen because of totally understandable and unfortunate events that happened around you but didn't directly affect you/you were unaware of, perhaps because you have bad game awareness. Its easy to think that YOU are the center of the universe and that everyone should adjust to you which ofc is a silly thing to think.
Just a concrete example, which actually is a bad habit that I pretty recently discovered in myself and work on to correct:
its easy to pay no attention to your teammates health meters before you call for a hardpush or just start playing aggressively. When you play as a full premade squad and really tryhard, your shotcaller may call for an all in where everyone just go in regardless of individual status, but among randoms or just together with low elo player with low knowledge of this game, you cant expect someone with 50 hp on a red shield is gonna abort his battery just to support your call to hardpush =)

@reconzeroYou have no idea how much I hide in apex, I am a master of the shadows, I have been pouncing on randoms since my start. All I was trying to say is the power of staying still/hiding is severely underrated, even if you are scanned by someone, they won’t find you if there is more than 2 people in the scan.
Also, I had to look this up, it’s voilà, not wallah (at least I think that’s what your trying to say). I have never ever had to type this word in all my time, so this might actually be useful for some, idk.- Balladalidila3 years agoSeasoned Ace
That is actually kinda true, even in semi-high elo and definitely pubs. I guess our eyes and brains work like the T-rex in Jurassic park, i.e searching for movement/change in the landscape when we are scanning the FOV for enemies and therefore easily can miss totally stationary enemies. But that wont happen very much against high elo players. What many mid elo players, like hardstuck plats and below, think is 100% wall hack are more often than not just high elo players who are incredibly smart.
Those top players have so much experience, skill and game knowledge that they will almost unconsciously use what he cant see or hear to determine exactly where the enemies are, based on the method of exclusion. For instance, if they hear your footstep from a certain direction, they will immediately know how far away you are. And since they know every possible way and place you can be positioned on the map, they will also know where its possible for that enemy to be. And if they dont see you "there", "there" or "there", they will know that the only possible place you can be is "there", even without even having a second of line of sight of you.But then there are the occasional wall hackers ofc 😉

My hat is off to you, sir. I am seldom schooled in the language arts, and I owe you a thanks.
And I have to say how genuinely shocked I am to find that there is even one single other player in this game who places any value at all on discretion. For exercising it I have been called everything from rookie (and several more colorful variations) to coward (also in more colorful variations). I will never understand how the vast majority of players can ignore and even ridicule common sense. Oh wait. Gamers. Asked and answered.
