What is somebody onemag me through smoke without digital?
And later I see gamepad aim assist is aiming for him, do I report that for cheating??

@Srksii What is the context, were they close enough to being able to see through the smoke or some distance away? Personally i usually just randomly spray til I see damage then try to guess movements but it only works sometimes
@TheApexLegendNub Its rhetorical question, allusion on how strong aim assist is. Guy tracked me in smoke on very drop without digital
- @Srksii I don't think it was due to aim assist. Aim assist shouldn't know where you are in smoke. Its more or less the person is deploying other kinds of cheats. Did they have no recoil, did they push other teams further than where yours die, etc.
Cheaters abuse aim assist with 3rd party controllers and software.- @Midnight9746 Aim assist do knows where are you in smoke, it dont bothers him. Even watched some video where it was shown
- @Srksii As someone who has played a controller every day since I started apex, aim assist does not work through smoke (as in it doesn’t just magically snap to the target)
I usually spray to try and find them and then try to aim accordingly which either hits them for a few shots or I waste an entire mag for nothing
There are aim assist controllers out there in the gaming world now. A LOT of players use them because it's like having an auto aim hack without actually hacking. One reason I've stopped playing as much.
