Taking 5% more damage or 15% less damage might not be based entirely on the relative sizes of each legends hit box.
I think that they buff or nerf legends based on how often they are picked and how often they win.
Wraith and pathfinder have a pick rate of about 20%, so they get nerfs. Whereas Caustic and Gibby are around the 3-5% pick rate, so they get buffs.
*Wonders how octane does not have low profile but yet pathfinder does 🤔
It says on the low profile description for each character "this character is harder to hit so takes 5% more damage"
But my point is that If you want to discourage wraith and pathfinder, then why are you nerfing the other characters? Why does revenent have low profile?
I dont think you should worry too much on low profile. They might have changed this but I actually think all damage per hit is rounded down to the closest whole number. So almost all auto fire weapons wont actually make any difference at all when shooting in the body or legs. The first auto weapon that actually make more damage is the Flatline (20*1.05=21) with only 1 more dmg per hit which statistically wont matter one bit in most fights. The real difference is noticeable when getting shot by snipers but my opinion is that the small hit boxes of low profile legends makes up for this big time.
Maybe they thought that Revenant would be much stronger than he actually turned out.
Regardless of what they call it, making certain legends more susceptible or resistant to damage is an easy factor to change. Much easier that altering character models or hit boxes.
Ideally, they should have made all characters and their hit boxes the same size. Then, they could have avoided the whole hit box inequality concerns.
