When are we going to see improvements the community cares about?

I've played since season one, and we've constantly had very unreasonable issues that we've had to deal with for a while now. For instance, hearing our own squad members so much louder than the enemies has been a big problem, now we get a loud sound of someone falling every time we load into a game, and these are frankly dumb issues that could be avoided in the first place. While the seasons have gotten a little better recently, the game focuses so much more on cosmetics and not a lot of ways for us to earn them. Now that we're hearing that the ability to use Apex coins to buy the battle pass and the massive push for things that don't line with what the community wants is very frustrating. I constantly hear from random people as well as my friends various issues that occur and although lots of it enjoy the game, they enjoy begrudgingly. The gamers here aren't being heard or have their concerns addressed and now with these new shifts, most of us gamers don't feel enthused enough to stick around.

  • @Oso-of-the-West Expect nothing. EA/Respawn cut corners, goes path of least resistance. I tended to believe until season 1~something that they have some concept in mind. And maybe they had. That one day they will start covering back the game, going for optimization, balance etc. But no. It's simply all about spinning hamsters wheel on and on, making changes for sake of making changes. This engine won't stop.

@AreYouShivering Earlier sessions had cool LTMs during events, (such as the story quest for Ash), good lore, "stories from the outlands" animations, and even detailed comics.

Now the "LTMs" are just recolor skin events, the lore is either confusing, ignored, or bounced around, stories from the outlands are now rare, and the comics have gone from being interactive to still animations.

In other words, the love and attention that went into the game had left when the devs who had put the time into this game had left Respawn. The new team doesn't have the same goals as the former one, besides meeting a quota for EA.
