Where is casual mode?

Night mode is not good. Older version of the map is also not good. Loot is decreased in both quantity and quality. I assume the tracking grenade is worthless since I never saw a single one in action, or if I did I couldn't tell it from any other grenade. Frag/Cap hot dropping is OF COURSE still a thing. Oh, and matchmaking seems to have decided to reset itself because... new map, I guess. I saw more dive trails in a single match than I usually see in a single night.

I was so annoyed by the whole thing that I actually went into ranked for a break, but that was worse in so many other ways. Then I went in control for what was, I'm pretty sure, my first time ever. Who designs a game mode where you don't automatically spawn into the match? I spent the first two minutes trying to figure out which load out was the least odious, another minute trying to figure out how to swap scopes, and then another minute trying to figure out how to spawn. Then you spawn on a drop ship that you don't have to leave if you don't want to. I didn't want to, but eventually I jumped off, found the edge boundary of the map and tried to hit people with the only range weapon in that ludicrous loud out option. Which was the charge rifle. Which is the NEW charge rifle. Which is useless. By the time it discharges the thing you were aiming at has already been killed once, re-spawned, taken two control points, and... won the match. For the life of me I cannot understand what it is that anyone sees in that mode. I've played other objective-based arena shooters, and while I hate them all, this one takes the cake. Oh, and too many players. Way too many players. Humorous from a company that often uses the excuse of "battle illegibility" to take away something that's actually useful to me.
