Why can’t I Spectate in Lobby?

I have had to sit through Arenas and Trios matches that can take 15-18min or more. Sitting in the lobby accounts for hours a day when I’m playing with multiple friends. Can you please consider adding a Spectate mode please? I don’t wanna spend half an hour to an hour a day staring at the lobby or staring at “Playing Arenas 4:3”
