Why did console aim assist get a huge buff for this season?

Gotta be honest after watching that video in the other post there are a lot of players this past week that I thought were aimbotting but it is this.

@Irres169 I'm actually shocked nobody else has noticed this yet. Maybe due to all the posts being about the battle pass XP.

  Yeah, I'll be taking a break until this is resolved. This is why games like Apex don't need crossplay. Simple.
  I prefer taking 10 seconds longer to find a match than having to deal with semi-aimbots.

    @Peri_Longbow_plz We should just be able to disable crossplay/controllerinput as a pcplayer... let the semiaimbot casuals shred each other but leave us alone with that crap
