Why did console aim assist get a huge buff for this season?

I understand the new map being mostly medium - long range but why buff aim assist so hard? For those of you who don't know, PC players explaining that controller players had aim assist and tracking,...

I'm on Xbox and PS4 players are starting to be really annoying yeah. I don't know if they have a higher aim assist or if they all use those * strike pack but there is definitively something wrong with them.
Fighting them is far to be the same than fighting Xbox players the previous seasons, and I'm far to have the same assist and tracking (and I don't want too)


But I don't say Xbox players are perfect either, I have seen some * too, but far less.

    Xbox and ps4 have the same aim assist as each other there is no buff for any console or pc. You are most likely versing better players than yourself so it seems like it was buffed.

      @MajesticClawWatch the video someone posted and say that. Aim assist was literally tracking someone in firing range with hip fire..... Dont tell us it didn't get something changed with it. Dude was slowly strafing left to right. Guy on controller literally was not touching anything and his gun was following him with near accuracy with out even aiming. When he aimed was same exact thing. It is too strong on pc. It needs removed.

        That is not a buff it was like that last season as well. Also, Pc aim assist is actually weaker than ps4 and xbox.

      @MajesticClaw Please read the actual post, not once did I mention I'm struggling to kill people. Aim assist has been buffed this season, if you don't recognise the buff then you have no idea what you're talking about.

      Respawn like to stealth patch things all the time without adding it to the patch notes. Yes xbox and ps4 have the same aim assist, no one is saying that, what I'm saying is the aim assist on console has been BUFFED, again if you didn't recognise slight buffs/nerfs in the game in the past without reading it from other people or reading it from patch notes then you clearly have no clue what you're talking about let alone trying to be involved in the discussion.

      Console has always had 20% less aim assist than PC, but with this season the aim assist on console has been buffed, why do you think you don't miss your shots as much now, think you've gone better? lmao there's a reason you missed shots last season and hardly miss now. Aim assist has been buffed; please learn how to figure out in-game testing and get back to me once you finally do, without assumptions. Thanks.

        bruh I'm rocking a .6 KD right now it's not my season. The issue I have is hitting people and they just outgunning me. the aim isn't the issue I feel like we die fast asf now.
