@MajesticClawI don't know what everyone is talking about with pc aim assist being stronger. I just switched from console to pc controller and the aim assist is noticeably weaker. On console the aim assist is so strong that you have to tear your aim off downed players and other enemies if you're switching targets (and that was last season). It also negatively effects movement on console because of this massive slowdown.
@TinyTim6991Don't listen to majestic he's absolutely clueless. Aim assist was at 0.4 on PC. On ps4 last season and prior seasons it was at 0.6. Starting this season aim assist got buffed on consoles, noobs won't notice it but players who understand that the skill gap gets reduced with every update will notice this change. If anything it has been slightly buffed another 0.1 and the hitbox has increased by either double or 4x it's original size.
- 5 years ago@MoNosDirtyGaming I'm just stating what I noticed from being a ps4 console player since preseason to recently switching to pc controller. The aim assist on ps4 used to lock on to opponents on occasion. I found someone hiding in foliage in kings canyon when i was sniping by taking my hands off the stick and letting the aim assist pull my aim on to them. That was back in season 1 or 2. I haven't noticed the aim assist being as invasive or as strong using a pc controller.
- 5 years ago@TinyTim6991 Yes; aim assist on consoles was tweaked a lot during the initial few seasons, this season it's been buffed again. They'll most likely revert it with a patch, maybe even the one releasing today even though it mostly updates steam related issues, i'll have to see when I log in in a few.
