Why goofys defending dev ?

@Amirkhan_2008 I find game modes like Free for All pretty boring and love the team based idea of Apex which is why I chose to play it. If players pressure the devs into focusing on Solo play I worry that the team based aspect wouldn't get enough attention and there's still much to improve/add to the team based experience.

If Apex started with Solos or always planned to add it then I'd say nothing. If players want to pressure the devs into adding a feature that I hate then I'll speak out against it. 

Ain't defending them I just hate the Solo mindset. The community can also be overly critical of developers due to how horrible and deceitful other games have been so that may be a reason to defend them I guess.

@Amirkhan_2008See this is the problem. You are the one trying to force a team game to give you a solo mode.

Why do you care if a game has three man squads if you want to play a solo game? Like you said....just pass by! nobody if forcing you to play squads!

See how that works both ways? You didn't have to call the other person stupid though, that just shows your own character.

@Amirkhan_2008I 100% agree, apex legends needs solos... I don’t want to be forced to play with teammates every game and using no fill is like playing solos against 20-30 teams of players teaming together against you... Just add solos already... theres plenty of legends to choose from and you know what legend you are running before the match even starts and each legend has their own strengths and weaknesses, its the whole point of choosing this game over any other battle royale because of the diverse group of legends available

pathfinder,horizon, and octane may be better at mobility but caustic or wattson are better defenders, maybe you want lifeline to be able to use her drone and pop a shield batt at the same time or maybe you want to run around as mirage and bamboozle people, if you want to third party you can use fuse or rampart, bloodhound or crypto will help you find and track down players trying to hide, etc 

the truth is that legend’s abilities do not matter, example you can be any legend thats 1 shot with an over aggressive bloodhound using his ult and chasing you... he lets his guard down and boom you 1 clip him the point is gun skills are what matter most it doesn’t matter what legend you are or what legend the enemy is using what matters the most is who can land their shots, better positioning, rotations, knowledge of the map, etc 

@Amirkhan_2008 I'm not worried about being forced to played solos I'm worried about the Dev's neglecting team oriented games modes to give attention to a solo mode.

@TheApexLegendNub Yeah there's a problem with teammates but usually its just poor communication + differing playstyles. If they had a way of matching players based on playstyle the experience would be improved but that's probably not easily done.

Its a team game. you work as a team. solos has no right to be in this game, a team game.

You're right, no one is forcing me to play solos because its a team based game. 

I would suggest that if you want to play something solo maybe COD is more suited for you. Or, Titanfall 2.

Makes no sense coming to a game that was designed around teamwork and demand solo queues

I am invested in the legends, the lore, etc and I do enjoy playing as a team but you need to understand I can’t do that 24/7... somedays I can’t even carry myself yet alone 2 others and even if they are not the problem in that particular game its not fun fighting 2-3+ teams at once for a total of like 6-12 players at one poi... solos would be a more casual gaming experience the fights would be more spread out and if theres 2-4 people in the same poi I would rather play that than 2-4 different teams of multiple players at once

some days I wake up and I don’t have the mental energy needed to deal with the stress of fighting 6-9 players at once... the most fun I have ever had on this game besides the winter express was solos back in the iron crown event

This is a discussion forum where opinions are shared. If people posts their OPINION about them wanting solos ofc people who dont think its a good idea might post their OPINION against it. Thats how discussion forums work. Its funny how so many on this forum first come with the argument that "Respawn should listen to the community" but then get angry when the other side of "the community" shares their opinion. Its easy to say you "speak for the community" when you dont allow anyone who doesnt agree to speak against you haha.

The main reasons I  "defend" the devs are:

1) I trust in Respawn analysis.

Fact is that Respawn has all the data and statistics; we dont. And we must assume that Respawn wants whats best for their game in the end and since they even took the time to explain that solos seemed to have a negative effect on the health of the game, I see no reason why not to believe it nor do I even have anything real to base a "counter argument" on expect my "feelings", but thats just stupid.

2) Solos would undeniably lead to a division in Respawns time and resources.

Regardless what people say; adding solos to the current game without any tweaking wont result in a good result. They would need to allocate resources to balance the game paramenters; legend- and weapon balance, round timers, circle sizes, loot spawn etc etc and this for EVERY change they do do the game. I rather see that Respawn makes the best team based BR than attempt to satisfy everyone.
