I´ll tell you why:
Because this is a 3+ year old game that not EA or Respawn cares to fix while it still makes money.
Just now, I participated in a fight where i made at least 400 with a damage g7-scout (hit markers told me so) and died to a guy across the map. I got revived and guess what? 62 damage in my count.
This game is DEAD.
These have been issues ever since cross play. It will never be fixed because ever since these Free to Play games have become a thing the only thing that matters is the $$$ and not the community.
Crossplay in any game is trash and does nothing for it. We had good queues in PC lobbies long before cross play. Get it the * out of here.

Except these issues have existed long before crossplay became a thing. Hell, it was even an issue when the game initially released. It's like they put band-aids on a serious condition instead of doing surgery.

A lot of different factors can cause sound issues as mentioned. Sometimes on the game's end and sometimes on the user's end. Fixing audio is not as simple as going in and altering things here or there. Some things can be altered here and there but not everything is easily accessed. When it comes to audio inside the game there is no side department of code I guess you could call it to go alter. Audio is built into the game engine itself (Some of it) which makes changing or altering existing issues quite hard.
As for no reg, this is not something I can really say much about. It normally depends on the player's ping. There are games that run Client Side hit registration which is more susceptible for hacking, other games use server-side hit registration which puts a big load on the servers themselves. It also is not a simple snap of the fingers fix.

We need better servers, netcode, audio system, matchmaking, etc. but we got stickers instead. Sigh. I understand that these things take time and they're not an easy fix, but its also disappointing that its not getting the attention it needs and the players are only told its them, their systems, their connections, yet every other game works just fine.
