Why is the matchmaking so messed up?

Can someone explain to me why the matchmaking is so jacked up? It makes no sense how I get matched with level 20-50 players and the champion has people that are actually their skill level. Kinda mess...

Weird take. While you're laughing, explain why pubs should be regulated the same as ranked, and why there should be two separate modes.

In all fairness I can see your point but in a way if any of the two modes should have MMR removed it should be Ranked as the idea of a rank system is you play everyone at your best level which at the moment that feels like its happening from your placement matches, bizarre system IMO. They could of fixed this by just not having people drop back into placements at the start of every season instead maintain your rank, unless you don't play for a while which it would then degrade. This is my opinion though but its surely a better allround rank system than what we've got right now.

@garethwaller yeah I never understood the de-ranking thing. I see that and MMR as just marketing ploys, rather than being in the name of fairness. If anything, if I don't play for a few season splits, now I'm a Master in Silver lobbies. How is that a good idea?

  @Twizted3k_tv It isn't mate but it sure makes you have to grind to masters all over again, again and again, which equals more game time on your part. Respawn don't want people to enjoy the game they want people to bare it whilst continuing playing as there's zero competition at the moment. I pray a game comes out and nails it and APEX just dies, as this I feel will be the only way they listen to us!
