why is this game so money hungry???

while I have 1330 hours on this game I feel disgusted that after getting my heirloom just a couple days ago and waiting for the event to end so I can get it. I find out that I need to wait another 20 days for the heirloom (they just want me to spend 210 dollars to get the heirloom ) and i will not support the behaviour that can be compared to a money hungry 5 year old
