WHY
PLEASE make it so the weapon gets reloaded as soon as it reaches 0 ammo in the clip AND NOT STAYING AS IF IT'S READY TO SHOOT WITH NOTHING IN IT UNTIL I ACTUALLY TRY TO SHOOT.

There is a key for that, most people use R 🤓
If you meant automatic weapon change, you have options in the settings, to make auto weapon change when getting out of ammo.
I set one of my mouse keys to reload. Seemed to help.
Paying attention help to.
Why dumb down this game even more? Respawn already caters to noobs anyways by removing things like Bjump healing and reducing the overall loot spawn table.
Keeping control over your ammo is a skill, and personally, I would hate if the game forced me to autoreload, slowing down the option to switch to my secondary weapon.

@DaxakaBGI do not agree with this. Auto reload? What will be next aim assist? Auto pick up? Auto heal?
The idea behind video games is that YOU control the actions of the characters. You do the work.
I get the frustration you have. But what’s the point in playing if everything is auto? Where is the skill?
The skill arises from meaningful decision making.
If you equip a weapon that has an empty magazine, there is absolutely no disadvantage for it to automatically begin the reload process.
If reloading generated noise, could not be interrupted, or prevented interaction with other entities in some way, then I'd agree that it shouldn't be automatic.
However there isn't any disadvantage to reloading; it's objectively superior in every way ergo there is no meaningful decision to be made, and thus there is no skill involved.
you're saying if you pick up a weapon from the ground that is empty it should automatically reload? That I could agree with.
But auto reload when you're in a gun fight, no way. reloading and switching weapons is part of the skill involved with being a good player.
