I am not saying that I think the spawn rate OR the weapon balance of the high tier weapons is perfectly balanced. I dont find it super broken but sure, there always room for improvements. However, I dont agree the principle of item tiers is a bad thing, i.e that some weapon has more potential to be more effective than others, and therefore more popular. This will reward people who fights and and kills since they obviously will get to choose the best stuff from more areas when they loot the deathboxes.
So if you see a lot of Wingmans and PKs in the top 5, then its just as it should be. The problem is if the loot spawn rate of these top tier items is too high, but honestly I dont feel that way. How many Pks and Wingmans are there on average in each high tier loot areas in ranked? If you ask me, its very rare that more than one player in the "winning" team of a given area has a Wingman when they leave the area.
- @Babbediboopi in diamond, master and predator.. in the winning team i always saw R99, PK and wingman... rarely other weapon.. some use R301 or flatline instead of the R99.. but the secondary is always PK or WM... rare case they have a hemlock single fire or G7
- @nwevolution Because those are all weapons with a high skill ceiling to master but are good once you have mastered them. Give a wingman or peacekeeper to a noob and he will miss all his shots. Give those same noobs an R301 or spitfire and they will have a bigger chance of hitting anything. Most of those weapons are either single shot and reward accuracy or they have high recoil. They don’t need to get nerfed, people like OP should just stop crying and get better.
