So you really think the devs should spend their time to answer every single hardstuck platinum player here who has a brilliant idea how to fix every issue, even though all they say in their posts is something like "*insert object* is broken. Fix it!"... No actual elaboration on how to fix it; no logical reasoning what consequences this brilliant idea might have on other areas. Just "fix this and fix that".

are you saying we shoud just cope with being killed by a whole squad silent jumad apeing you from nowhere since season 6, or just keep coping with the shotgun ape-like meta has last for over 10 season, or just run away when facing any aimbotter, even if billions of cheater are coming to this game because of the warzone exodus while EA is so generous we have 1 single dude banning people since this game came out? or "Just get good" when EOMM reward you, a solo queue player who just "Accidentally" had a few good games, hard stuck plat 4 in BR and made it to gold 4 in rank arena, by pairing you against a full stack 3 Master?
I could go on and on about how incompetence and lazy they are when it come to balancing the game because it's not a real job. Just look at League of legends, a notoriously garbage game which has completely lose to power and feature creep to the point in a champion pool of over 150, only 20 of them are still viable.

another great example of how apex dev are so lazy and bankrupt creativity while having a skin so thick it can bounce off a tank shell: Fuse's ultimate was extremely underwhelming because three-third of this game's legend could just escape it with a free get out of jail card or you could just wall jump through his flame. People on the forum has been throwing the idea of a rework for his ultimate by switching fire mode to a straight molotov line of flame like a thermite wall but bigger to block doorway or putting an X in the middle of his flame and raise the flame height so people get caught in it has a harder time to escape.
What did the dev do at the end? "Fuse can wallhack people inside an entire building that get caught by his ultimate". Wow such an amazing and breathtaking buff, everyone can have a free legal wallhack now. What's next? Bangalore can wallhack peoole get caught inside her smoke now?
- 4 years ago@KissYourHomieUwU Yeah, that Fuse buff really didn't make much sense. Whenever I have tried to use Fuse's ultimate I always found it to be extremely situational and half the time I would screw it up and hurt myself more than the team. It doesn't really make any sense to highlight players that haven't touched his flame, a smaller radius complete coverage of fire like a super thermite grenade would have been better yeah.
As for feedback, I sometimes see very good ideas on here but have no faith that they are either seen or forwarded to anyone who might benefit from seeing these ideas. The mods here are just around to remove posts, ban people and copy and paste standard replies it seems. Most of their work is probably pasting the standard response to people that seem to think bleating about being banned on here will do any good. To be fair, they aren't as zealous on here as they are over on the Fifa forums for example but I don't expect anything much from these forums. That said, people aren't as angry here as they are on the Fifa forums because Apex players aren't really disadvantaged in the game if they don't surrender their wallets to EA.- 4 years ago
Well...
I have made a lot of posts in the past here, with maybe one or two community managers reacting to it with (sorry) copy&paste messages that make me feel like it was done out of "forced necessity" rather than a genuine acknowledgement. I don't even see much news here, most news I pick up in videos or through friends, and most usually through twitter/reddit.
This place right here are the official forums opened by EA. This is where EA should be the most active, not on Reddit, Discord or Twitter. Imagine if your grocery store conveyed information through Discord, rather than sending the weekly newspaper. Discord, Reddit and Twitter have become the go-to places for developers lately. Screw having an official forum and a place for organized discussions, let's instead use a chat-app where every sentence goes into a deep abyss and is never seen again within a minute or two.
Silent developers are often the cause for a lack of trust towards them. If you offer me a place to share my thoughts and feedback and make sure that my thoughts among many others, and then you are never seen there, what kind of trust do I really have to build up? How do I know that my feedback is actually acknowledged? How do I know that my bug report is actually seen? Aside from the hypothetical trust that next season might become better, there is no real way to build on a stable foundation.
Point in case, as long as we have this kind of communication barrier going on, I doubt that the majority of players will ever be faithful towards EA, and will instead just hope next season gets better.
