Omg I thought I was the only one. I spent a * ton of $$$ on these few pixels and now it turns out I can't even use it because of the insane white noise the blade gives while wielding it. When I used it I turned down my volume very low so it didn't bother me that much, but I was unable to hear footsteps, so now I just don't use the heirloom at all.. Worst thing is the noise bugs through in the menus even when not playing.
I posted the same thing on reddit last week but I got instantly downvoted and buried..
PLEASE DEVS GIVE US AN OPTION TO DISABLE THE SOUND, I DIDNT SPEND SO MUCH MONEY TO LISTEN TO CRACKLING SOUNDS ALL GAME.

I finally got my much desired knives last night and was very sad to find out that I now have to listen to "Kshkshkshkshkshkshkshkshk" 24/7 while playing Wraith. =\
I totally get the point of the sound, but it's INCREDIBLY distracting for a game where listening to sound is so vital. A player who spent a ton of money (or was lucky enough to find such a rare item) should not even remotely be punished by using said item in game. =\
My suggestion: Make it so that the sound plays for the first like ~3 seconds when you pull the blades out but then goes silent.
Please address this, potentially just have it as a toggle through inspect weapon? Maybe turning the static on or off?
Yep still nothing on this, its been MONTHS.
Please for the love of god let me turn off the noise my 500$ knife makes.
