Counting Gibraltars arm shield that recharges and his Fortified where Incoming damage reduced by 15% and is not slowed by bullets making his ability to take damage with level three shields or higher at around 305. Then you have wraiths incoming damage increased by 5% for being low profile making her hp with level three shields or higher around 190. That means Gibraltar can take about 100 more damage than wraith, on top of that the Shield will block all damage from the last shot that breaks it; for example, a Kraber shot will deal 125 damage, but Gibraltar’s Shield will block the entirety of that damage before breaking, even though it only has 75 HP. So if you can't kill a wraith quicker than a Gibraltar than its either a problem with aiming or the wraith is a much better player.
- 6 years ago@DeathRaven_1983 You can’t look at hit box surface area in a vacuum. Gibraltar’s gun shield makes him incredibly tanky, you just blew off jmpippins points (which were understated actually) with a “nu-uh doesn’t count”. A Gibraltar will absorb about 80 percent more damage than a Wraith without a gun shield recycle, the main variables will be headshots and lost overkill damage that doesn’t carry over on the final shield bullet. If you factor in a gunshield cycle and combat focused abilities Gibraltar pulls well ahead of Wraith in a combat situation. Wraith is viable because of her ability to Q through fire to place a portal. That is pretty much it.
- 6 years ago@DeathRaven_1983 A 75 HP arm shield that recharges isn't just a benefit it is a game changer. Me with any character vs me as Gibraltar loses every 1v1. I think they need to work on improving other Legends and stop nerfing the same Legends over and over just because it has a high pick rate.
