In the upcoming patch notes it says that the phase ability will now take 1.25 seconds to activate including a 20% movement slow. Why? Wraith was in no way overpowered as a legend and this has just go...

True, although the reason wasn’t for the “get out of jail free card” it was her portal, the best rotation tool in apex. Reworking the phase won’t do much about the competitive pick rate.
@Shmexxyyy They did nerf the portal anyway.
Correct. But why change the phase activation time if it’s not the biggest call for competitive play? That’s the issue I have with this change. Nerfing the portal distance by 25% is a ton, that should have been enough.
- @Shmexxyyy Well, they wanted to cement the tactical as a movement tool, instead of an escape.
By increasing her vulnerability during the activation, it’s much harder to just nope out of a situation.
